Essence Worm Build Stats, PoEDB provides new things come out each league, as well as unreleased skills or MTX, as all of the information is directly datamined from the game itself.
Generally speaking, Essence Worm is almost always worth considering if your build picks up Blood Magic or Mind or Matter. I wouldn’t think this ring is worth it for any build scaling attacks with elemental damage; you’d be losing out on WED, flat added ele damage, etc.

If you’re running a build around skills similar to Earthquake or Sunder, Essence Worm gives you the ability to run Hatred, Herald of Ash, and an added Enfeeble or other curse connected to blasphemy without reservation reduction. For me, adding Enfeeble is a MASSIVE defensive increase compared to what any other ring could add.
