5/27/2013 · Drivetrain vibrations that only occur during acceleration are usually caused by the rear driveshaft u-joints vibrating from either an excessively high pinion angle (when modifications have been made to allow that) or a bad u-joint in the driveshaft. Both of those would be my immediate first suspects.
If your Wrangler has anything over 100,000 miles on the ODO, it’s probably time to replace your ball-joints anyway. Signs of a failing ball-joint include: Clunking metal-on-metal noises emitting from the front suspension. Vibration from the front; Wandering or loose steering to the left or right. 5/6/2012 · So I been noticing that when I begin to accelerate from a dead stop I feel a slight vibration from my jeep . Its very mild and felt mostly in the seat. It happens at about 10mph right before the car shifts to the second gear. Anyone else notice the same thing? I have a 2012 Limited 4X4 3.6L.
